Screen Printing is achieved by forcing ink through a fine mesh screen with a squeegee onto the product. This type of printing is most suitable for printing large areas and artwork with limited colours.

All screen printing orders have 20 items minimum per order. Different items/styles and garment colors can be mixed to reach the minimum quantity as long as it is the same artwork with the same size and colors are being applied across all garments.

All new screen printing orders have a setup fee of $138 to prepare screens with the artwork. Only $70 setup fee will be charged for any repeat orders.

We have a flat rate per design with two colors and it gets cheaper for bulk quantities. $10.71 for Qty 20-50, $8.63 for Qty 50-100, $6.76 for Qty 100-250, $5.47 for Qty 250-500, and $3.93 for Qty 500-1000. For more than Qty 1000, please get in touch for a quote.

There are 4 screen printing positions you can choose from, Front Maximum - (330mm wide x 200mm high), Back Maximum - (330mm wide x 280mm high), Left Hand Sleeve Maximum - (120mm wide x 300mm high), Right Hand Sleeve Maximum - (120mm wide x 300mm high).

Artwork proof and approval process: Within 3-4 working days of receiving your order, we will email you a digital artwork proof. Once you have approved the proof, your order will be sent to production. Please allow up to 10 working days from artwork approval for your order to be dispatched. 

For all New Screen Print orders with two colors, a setup fee of $138 needs to be added to the cart separately before checkout. Here is the link to the setup fee.

For all Repeat Screen Print orders with one color, a repeat setup fee of $70 needs to be added to the cart separately before checkout. Here is the link to the setup fee.

How to measure size ?
Sizes stated are in cm and they are half chest measurements.
Half Chest measurement relates to the width of the t-shirts or garments, not the body. The measurement is obtained by laying the t-shirt (hoodie, shirt or other top) flat on a flat surface. The garment is then measured across the front, side-seam to side-seam, from just a few centimetres below where the sleeve joins the body of the garment. A garment with a half chest measurement of 50cm would be skin-tight on a person with a 100cm chest. Therefore, the half chest measurement - when doubled - should be a few centimetres more than the person's actual chest measurement (depending on desired fit and garment stretch).

Shipping Charges :

Orders under $350 - The shipping charge is a flat rate of $9.95 for all non-rural areas.

Orders under $350 - The shipping charge is a flat rate of $12.95 for all rural areas.

Free delivery on all orders over $350.

International delivery is available and a quote will be provided on request.

Lead time for dispatch and delivery :

Blank apparel without decoration will be dispatched in 2-3 working days. However, JBs wear products can take up to 4-5 working days to be dispatched.

Decorated apparel (embroidery, screen printing etc.) will be dispatched in 10 -15 working days after artwork approval. We will be in touch in regards to these orders.

Once order is dispatched, courier delivery time frame is generally 1-2 days for North Island and 2-3 days for South Island. Please allow an extra 1-2 days for rural delivery.

Returns and refund policy :

Products returned to Galaxy Apparel for replacement/refund are subject to the following terms and conditions:

Items that have been correctly embroidered or printed with your brand or logo by us cannot be returned.

The returned products must be in the unused original condition, including all original packaging and tags, with all tags still attached to garments.

Please email us at sales@galaxyapparel.co.nz explaining the reason for return and we will provide the address that the goods must be returned to and they must be returned within 7 working days from the date of delivery. Any return requests received after 7 working days of delivery date will not be accepted.

Goods must be returned by clearly marking the items you are returning and the reason for the return. The customer must pay for postage/freight of samples and returns.

Original postage costs are not refundable. However, if you are returning an item for exchange (same style, wrong sizing), we will pay postage on the outward parcel.

In an unlikely event that there is a fault with a product that we are responsible for, we will either send you a replacement or give you a refund.

Please check all garments before printing as we will not accept any returns including any defective items if the garments are printed.

If you return any orders over $300 ex GST where you have received free shipping. Original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
